This painting was created with reference to a beautiful photograph by Erica Rivera. It is from Lake Clark National Park and Preserve, where the Alaskan and Aleutian mountain ranges meet- a hidden gem. A land of stunning beauty:  volcanoes steam, salmon run, craggy mountains reflect in shimmering turquoise lakes-  and BEARS!  It is famous for being a premier bear-watching location. This guy in my painting was out fishing after dark.
